Part III
The Part III Cox Technic Seminars offer a unique presentation. The focus of a Part III course is to demonstrate the integration of Cox Technic protocols in the clinical setting. Real patients, real conditions, real applications, real problems, real situations.
Two types are primarily available: multidisciplinary in Fort Wayne (Dr. Cox's hometown) and special topic (out of Fort Wayne).
The advantages of Fort Wayne presentations are
- access to Dr. Cox's patients. Dr. Cox invites a few patients to the course for clinical rounds presentations. That can only be done in Fort Wayne.
- access to Dr. Cox's medical and healthcare colleagues - neurosurgeons, pain control specialists, other medical specialists - he works with all the time. They are invited to present their roles in the care of spine pain and how they work with chiropractic physicians like Dr. Cox. That can only be done in Fort Wayne.
- dinner at Eddie Merlot, the favorite restaurant of Dr. Cox's. Eddie's is our place to unwind together on Saturday night. That can only be done in Fort Wayne.
- (Side note: Fort Wayne is a lovely city! It has jet service to its airport, too!)
The advantages of other cities' presentations are
- location. We try to pick a special place to join. Naples FL, Scottsdale AZ, Maui Hawaii are a few of the more recent locations.
- topics. Dr. Cox prepares unique presentations around his current interest which is usually piqued by the latest literature or research outcomes from the federally funded studies.
- intimacy. The groups are usually quite congenial as many long-time certified doctors join us and talk with newer-to-the technique attendees about their practices and clinical outcomes during breaks and around the seminar times.
