Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists Approve Cox® Seminars for ACO Re-Certification
The Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists approves attendance at Cox® Seminars by F/D Enterprise LLC for their Fellows to pursue re-certification status in the ACO.
One of the goals for re-certification that President of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists, Dr. Jim Brandt, describes is to "Demonstrate that the Diplomate has kept current with new practices, methodologies, equipment, terminology, procedures and evidence based material." Cox® Technic Seminars is honored by this acceptance and recognition as a vehicle for ACO Fellows to re-certify.
The Cox® Technic organization looks forward to this partnership in continuing education. The evidence-based chiropractic research and protocols of Cox® Technic Flexion-Distraction and Decompression adjusting as developed by Dr. James M. Cox are the focus of the courses with much documentation and reference to the medical and chiropractic published literature and research.
Part I Cox® Technic Courses are 12 hours. Part II Cox® Technic Courses are 18 hours. Part III Cox® Technic Courses are 12 hours.
Note for ACO Fellows:
The 12 hour class equals 10 Credits of the needed 75 for the 5 years.
The 18 hour class would qualify for 16 credits being applied to the 75 credits over 5 years.
By attending 1 year of classes for certification (Part I and Part II), a Fellow could obtain 26 credits towards the 75 needed in 5 years.
||Continuing education credits are in conjunction with the post-graduate division of the National University of Health Sciences. |
The 2013 Cox® Seminar schedule
is published. We look forward to welcoming Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists' Fellows to the Cox® Technic courses and look forward to sharing the Cox® System of Spinal Pain Management.
