Dr. Lee. J. Hazen is a certified Cox Technic instructor. He is well versed in the outcomes of the federally funded Cox Technic Flexion Distraction studies from the early biomechanics studies to clinical pressure application collection for low back technique and the on-going cervical spine biomechanics study with Palmer Research Center, Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and Hines VA Hospital in Chicago. As well, he contributes to the spinal pain literature as author of the chapter on "Fibromyalgia" in Low Back Pain by Dr. James Cox as well as journal and case reports involving Cox Technic. |
Dr. Hazen is a graduate of Cleveland College of Chiropractic where he met Dr. James Cox, founder of Cox Technic Flexion Distraction, and was asked to join his practice as a resident. He then stayed as an associate/partner for nearly 10 years. As a California native, the sun drew him and his family back home to California where he has practiced for nearly 15 years.
