Part III
DESCRIPTION
Part III - Cervical Spine
- This course covers the biomechanical and clinical research outcomes of Cox® Technic protocols for cervical spine and upper thoracic conditions: the intradiscal pressure decreases, the proper forces to be applied and the correct application of protocols.
- Academic discussions of cervical spine anatomy and conditions and protocols are interspersed with hands-on application of the protocols in small groups with instructors at each training Cox8® Table.
- The evidence-based development of the protocols is presented including single clinical case reports, multi-case retrospective clinical case collections, laboratory discoveries of biomechanical effects and forces.
- This is part of the certification course in the evidence-based protocols of the Cox® Technic System of Spinal Pain Management. The technique doesn’t stand alone
in the relief of spine pain but rather is a central component. The patient,
home care, Cox® Technic, exercise, examination, doctor skill are all part of
the system whose goal is pain relief.
- This Part III Cervical Spine Certification Course in Cox® Technic protocols will build a foundation of physicians who approach cervical spine pain and then treat it in similar fashion just as the lumbar spine certification has.
CERTIFICATION EXAM (optional)
To be listed as certified in cervical spine, you must take the practical and written exams as well as attend all 14 hours of the weekend. Protocol Guide to review
RECERTIFICATION
Once every 2 years, attending a Cox® Seminar (I, II, III, IV, Honors) for 12 hours continues your active certified status in all other prior-examined certification areas.
