Forces Applied
Researchers work for ways to measure everything. That's science!
The Cox® Technic community is so grateful for all their work. Here are the articles related to those forces measured.

- The
forces delivered by a chiropractor during manual and automated long y axis Cox®
distraction, lateral flexion and circumduction) to 12 patients were studied
from preload to maximum axial load delivered.
- Peak
axial load in manual distraction was 73.7N and with automated long y axis were
136.0N
- Clinical
note: training is necessary to discern and apply proper force during Cox® long y
axis automated and manual flexion distraction and decompression spinal
manipulation.
- Note: Circumduction forces are higher. We teach circumduction is a strong force and
elicited in good triple joint health.
