Case Report 180 - L5S1 Disc Herniation, Back Surgery, L4L5 Disc, Chiropractic Relief

Drs. Dean present this case of a patient who elects to have L5-S1 spine microdiscectomy for left lower extremity pain in the L5 and S1 dermatomes following chiropractic care of seven months. This relieved her pain, but six months later, this patient developed left leg sciatica again, and a diagnosis of L4-L5 disc herniation was made. This recurrence was treated successfully with chiropractic care.
