Dr. Ralph Kruse has been around Cox Technic his whole career. He started as a treating physician with Dr. James Cox and Dr. James Jedlicka at National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences) in the first ever federally funded chiropractic biomechanics study. During this study, cadavers were treated to determine the effects of Cox Technic flexion distraction on disc pressures (dropped!), spinal canal area (increased!), etc. Since those starting days, he has continued to participate in the NIH and HRSA biomechanical and clinical trials as well as publish many case reports in JCM and JMPT and teach certification courses and lead hands-on workshops in Cox Technic. He's a valued team member!
Now he's a columnist...
His local paper, the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle, has him writing a column for them. His first one just appeared in the January 21, 2016, issue. It's titled "
Winter warm-ups are key in preventing cold weather pain." I don't have an online link, but you can read it via this download.
Congratulations, Dr. Kruse!
