The researchers will compare "real" flexion distraction to a "control" protocol. Dr. Ram Gudavalli and colleagues publish their plans and methods for a clinical trial research study of the effectiveness of Cox Technic for cervical spine pain conditions. They based their protocols on a pilot study of 48 patients. This manual cervical distraction (aka flexion distraction, Cox Technic) procedure will be compared to an "attention touch control."
