The biomechanical and clinical effectiveness of chiropractic's Cox Technic Flexion Distraction is getting notice from other manipulative professions as well as within chiropractic. It's exciting to some. It's alarming to others. Efforts behind Cox Technic have been to document what happens biomechanically as well as clinically and to share it with the spinal research literature for discussion. The evidence-based support and research-documented outcomes keep growing. We note interest from osteopaths and physical therapists and physiotherapists. Articles on their experience with flexion distraction are also appearing in the literature like this one:
PHYSICAL
THERAPISTS FIND FLEXION DISTRACTION VERY BENEFICIAL IN TREATING LUMBAR SPINAL

Choi J, Lee S, Jeon C:
Effects Of Flexion-Distraction Manipulation Therapy On Pain And Disability In
Patients With Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. J Phys Ther Sci 2015;27(6):1937-9
Thirty patients
with lumbar spinal stenosis were divided into two groups: a conservative physical therapy treatment group and a flexion-distraction manipulation group. VAS and Oswestry scores were taken. Both showed significant decreases but more so for the flexion distraction group. The concluded that flexion-distraction manipulation
appears to be an effective intervention for pain and disability for lumbar spinal stenosis patients.
