Fort Wayne played host to the inaugural combined Parts I and II Cox Certification Course. Over 4 days, 30 hours of chiropractic continuing education was offered by
Dr. James Cox, developer of Cox Technic,
Dr. George Joachim, instructor of Part I courses and workshops, and
Dr. Kurt Olding, certified doctor and workshop instructor.
Dr. Cox set the theme of the weekend (with a presentation that was based on the work of Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich) for evidence based education as the way of the future for medicine and chiropractic (Dana Lawrence's well-defined model) and that the knowledge acquiring period begins upon graduation (or certification) and that all of us must continue to gain more specialized knowledge in our fields to help those who seek our care most effectively.

International doctors from Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico joined their US colleagues for a packed weekend of lecture content, workshop hands-on, case presentations, a couple lunches and cookie breaks and lots of coffee.

"I like the 3 different instructors. All were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with practical work and practice tips. Also, the flow of the conference was excellent with videos in small groups and hands-on with the instrument breaking up lectures were great - 'fastest' 30 hours of continuing education I've ever had. Thank you!"

Newly certified chiropractors now enjoy their listings in the
referral directory (as well as other perks like seminar discounts!). We also look forward to their sharing cases at Part III courses!
Additionally,
Haven Innovation provided 3 brand-new The Cox8 Tables for the weekend's training. Nice! And Cirrus ABS's Derek Pillie presented a short 10 minutes on the value of an online presence that offers authority and visibility like the
CTC program.
There are two more Part I courses in 2013 (
Norfolk and
Atlanta) with a
Part II in Chicago (November), but this was a popular option - 30 hours, one trip, one exam, one place - so we'll likely set up another combined course for spring 2014. Keep checking our chiropractic seminar
schedule for updates!
"I've been getting marginally good restuls and now I know why. I expect to get excellent results going forward. I feel much more confident in treating difficult cases."
